This formula is great for using the smaller bits and trimmings left over from making the apple slice or apple tart. This apple filling is used for making the turnovers.

Ingredients Required: Apple Filling

| Apples (Fresh) |
4 - Large |
| Apple Sauce |
1 - 14 ounce can |
| Brown Sugar |
2 ounces |
| Cloves (ground) |
pinch |
Preparation Instructions: Apple Filling
| Prepare the apples by peeling, coring and chopping
into large chunks. |
| Combine all ingredients in a saucepan and bring
to a boil. Continue to cook until the larger chunks are tender. |
| Cover and store chilled. |
| Cook longer and put through a food processor to make
applesauce |
