This boat shaped barquette is filled with cold vanilla pastry cream then topped with fresh strawberries. An apricot coating holds it all together; a drop of red food color enhances the tarts appearance.

Ingredients Required: Strawberry Tart
Preparation Instructions: Strawberry Tart
| Using a small spatula spread pastry cream into bottom
of shell. |
| Wash and de-stem berries. Slice in half from top
to bottom. |
| Place three halves onto tart shell. In a piggy back
style. |
| Glaze with red apricot glaze using a small pastry
brush. |
| Store chilled. |
