This Pear Tart is prepared on a prebaked 4 inch tart shell that's lined with a layer of cold vanilla pastry cream. Topped off with fresh or canned pears, sliced and fanned out to display. A warm apricot coating keeps it all fresh and moist.

Preparation Instructions: Pear Tart
| With a spatula spread pastry cream onto the bottom of the tart shells. |
| Peel and core pears. Slice so the halves can be fanned out onto the shell.

| Place the fanned out pears onto the pastry cream. |
| Apply hot apricot glaze with a small pastry brush. |
| Canned pears can be used instead. |
